LingoSprout · Practice notes
A five-minute listen-and-repeat routine
Choose one useful phrase
Pick a situation you might actually encounter today: a greeting, ordering a drink or asking for directions. Read one expression and its meaning before listening. Keep the first round small; understanding the written sentence is only the starting point.
Listen before repeating
Play the target-language example twice. First notice the overall rhythm, then the pauses. Slow it down when needed. Look away from the text and try the whole phrase; checking the text again is part of practice. System voices vary with the voices available on your device.
Record and compare one thing
Record yourself and replay it beside the example. Choose one detail to work on, such as a pause or a difficult word, and try again. LingoSprout offers recording and playback, not a professional pronunciation score or a substitute for teacher feedback.
Recall it tomorrow
Save a difficult expression and revisit it in review. Try recalling it before playing the example. Progress is stored on your current device; do not assume it has synced to another device. Start with the free expressions to see whether this routine suits you.
